    Default Java

Ok, so I finally installed OpenSUSE. I actually think it's sooo much better than Fedora 14. My graphics card also has 3567 fps rather than 375 fps in Fedora. I don't know what happened there, but I like it. There is only one thing that I don't understand. When I installed updates, it installed Java (jdk) with it. I go onto firefox and type "aboutlugins", and there is nothing for "Iced Tea" or anything "Java". What should I do?

In addition to the very fine advice from caf4926, you might want to double check all of your multimedia setup by running a free script you can download from this forum at:

MMCHECK - Check Your Multimedia in 10 Steps - Script File, as proposed by RedDwarf

Message #21 contains the most recent version you might want to use.
