OpenOffice.org, from version 3.0 and up, should allow you to add the Thunderbird address book as an address data source via the address data source wizard in the File drop down menu. I've read this from multiple sources. However, when I run the wizard, I have Evolution, Groupwise, Evolution LDAP, KDE address book, and "Other data sources". That's where I should be able to select a Thunderbird address book. Why is this useful option missing from Novel's version of OpenOffice? It would be especially nice since I have a thunderbird add-on/extension that makes synchronizes my google contacts, so I could actually do a mail-merge with my google address book.
