Hi,
Whenever I install any new application by using ‘Install/Remove Software’, at the end of the installation(after writing suse configuration script) it suddenly exits showing error as following:
YaST got signal 11 at YCP file PackagesUI.ycp:273
/sbin/yast2: line 399: 9151 Segmentation fault $ybindir/y2base $module “$@” “$SELECTED_GUI” $Y2_GEOMETRY $Y2UI_ARGS
Please help me out.

You should have a “/var/log/YaST2/signal” file with some more info. Submit it to the developers in a
Bugzilla.

Kind of bug already exists.

But the error message reported is different from what i have.
What should I do?
There is:

Should I add the current error type as comment n then commit or
Reopen the BUG case.

I’d file a new bug, and let the devs decide whether it’s the same or not. Your error message is different? New bug report.
