    Default Skype Repo

    Hi,

Would anyone be so kind to point me in the direction of a repository that has Skype for 11.3?

    Regards

i do not believe it exists....and, my experience with the
download/install from skype.com was it was painless (well, maybe you
need to read/follow some instructions) and just worked..

just go to skype.com, click on "Get Skype" from you openSUSE running
computer and it will automatically sense you need a Linux package and
pop up a page where you can choose between packages for Ubuntu,
    Debian, Fedora *and* openSUSE 11

just do it. (read the instructions and follow them carefully--after
you have working sound/speakers and mic)

Does not exist. Skype doesn't have a repository for Linux regardless of distribution. Just download the RPM package off the Skype website.

Want to know if something is in the repos?

    software.opensuse.org: Search Results

Select your openSUSE version if needed, first search just like that.
If nothing is found, click Search Options, uncheck 'exclude user's projects' (or alike, I'm viewing the page in dutch) and search again.
° Appreciate my reply? Click the star and let me know why.

° Perfection is not gonna happen. No way.
