Thread: dosen't showing the correct pointer

  1. #1

Default dosen't showing the correct pointer

I changed my pointer to black DMZ (if I correct its installed by default).
The problem is, on my desktop the pointer look like default one but the other symbols like when it think or resize seem to be changed (to black DMZ).

    How to fix that???

I think he means Gnome; I'm seeing the same problem. I choose the black KDE pointer but I get the default, except on top of the firefox window.

In Gnome Control Center, Select Appearance -> Theme, click on Customize, open the tab "Pointer".

If the DE is GNOME, then change the pointer theme and then log out and then log in. That should solve the problem.

That doesn't work either. When I hoover over firefox I get the correct pointer, however if I hoover over the desktop or any other window I only get the default. So something is definetly wrong. I tried changing to different pointers with the same effect.
