    How do I convert an ical file to a csv file??? Is there an application available???

    You are stressing my black magic capabilities to the limit.

    Are you talking about Apple's calendar application iCal or about the ical application written in Tcl for Unix? If it is the former you might better ask on an Apple forum or mailing list.

    no it is a google calendar ical file.

    To give you an idea of what I'm trying to do. I was able to export the Google Calendar to a csv file in Thunderbird just fine. Now what I want to do is import it into sugarCRM community edition. The problem is I'm getting error messages of invalid fields. If anyone has done this successfully in version 6.0.1. Please let me know. None of the google calendar add-ons can be installed;they are in compatible with this version

    As an ical file is simply a list of fields, I suspect you need to find out which fields sugarCRM dislikes and ask Thunderbird to remove them from the export.
