barry for 11.3

Hi

Does anyone know where I can get barry-gui, barry-utils, and barry-opensync rpms for 11.3

Thanks
Michael

Hi
I built it awhile back, removed it from my home OBS, would need to
review and add back in if you like?

Yes please Malcolm. Does your build work with x64 openSuse/

Michael

Hi
I’ve fixed a few things and tidied up the spec file and it’s now
building on the openSUSE Build Service, it should be available soon on
my home repository so keep an eye out here;
http://software.opensuse.org/search?q=barry&baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.3&lang=en&exclude_debug=true

It should work fine on x86_64.

Thanks Malcolm.:slight_smile:

Just found this thread, nice job, installed just fine. Just tried to compile it myself from sources without any luck.

One question though, it is not picking up the phone even though it is connected via USB. Does the phone need to have a memory card in place or can it work without one with just the plain phone?

I have the media card support enabled on the phone and the phone is picking up the USB connection as it is charging the battery.

Hi
You might have to use the usb_modeswitch command. Can you post the output for your phone from;

lsusb -v

should be nice if the package could be rebuild for opensuse 12.1

If you search at http://software.opensuse.org/search and add users’ home
projects, there is a hit there - don’t know if the package works or if
the person who built it is going to maintain it in any way, but that’s
one thing to check.
