Default Upgrade to 11.3, now requires root password to shut down.

I've been running 11.3 on a net book for several weeks and have not had this happen on that computer. On a different computer, which was upgraded from 11.2 to 11.3, now requires a root password to shut down the computer. Do I have something set wrong?

Not sure but if you are running KDE go to System settings>Advanced>Login manager where there is an option to allow local shutdown by users. The default is only root for remote shutdown - so is that the reason for the difference you have encountered?
