Thread: New to openSUSE

    Default New to openSUSE

    I like the OS so far. I had some suggestions on software packages to add. I would like to see some amateur radio software packages such as flidigi, soundcardmodem-just to name a few-and some electronics packages such as geda and pcb-just to name a few.
    Other than that this is a great Linux version.

    Search for these packages via

    software.opensuse.org: Search Results

    geda and pcb were available as openSUSE packages for a start.

    There are RPMs for gEDA and friends, soundcardmodem, and more. This
    is the first i have heard of flidigi though.

    1st time heard of fldigi. It is available for openSUSE through one click install.
