Sorry 11.1 and running 64 bit. I think I had an issue with this months ago.

    Hi,

npviewer.bin is the Firefox Adobe Flash Player plugin. What version of flashplayer is installed, the newest?
If a update don't help just kill the prozess:
    [for name in $(ps ux | awk '/npviewer.bin/ && !/awk/ {print $2}'); do kill "$name"; done]

    Thanks

Adobe Flash Player 10.1.53 is current.
Sorry, i don't habe a better answer as try OS 11.2 or 11.3
With your graphiccards change to 11.2 so you don't run in trouble
    with drivers.

Or a simpler kill command would be:

    killall -9 npviewer.bin

    :-)

really, can i just update to 11.2 or 3.

It took me ages to get the canon printer working etc.

a lot of work just for a flash player?

You are right, to much work for a flash player. OS 11.1 is from December 18, 2008.
Security updates you can get 2 years i believe. This is a better reason to update.

yes you are right. Strange it was working fine must have been an update.

It must be a common problem. Seems to have be carried over to 11.2 and 11.3, Adobe are working on the flasher player according to their site.

    Thanks for reply
