Default Cannot Start Virtualbox PUEL in 11.3

I have installed Virtualbox PUEL in 64-bit 11.3. This is a fresh install. My computer has an onboard nvidia 8300GS graphics card. I do not think this is related to the issue.

I added the virtualbox repository and installed the program via yast.

when I type "VirtualBox" in the terminal I get the following output:
    Code:
    ------@linux-r1v4:~> VirtualBox
WARNING: The vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded. Either there is no module
available for the current kernel (2.6.34-12-desktop) or it failed to
load. Please recompile the kernel module and install it by

               sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

You will not be able to start VMs until this problem is fixed.
WARNING: The compilation of the vboxdrv.ko kernel module failed during the
installation for some reason. Starting a VM will not be possible.
Please consult the User Manual for build instructions.

/usr/bin/VirtualBox: line 72: exec: /usr/lib/virtualbox/VirtualBox: cannot execute: Permission denied
    -------@linux-r1v4:~>
In yast under "system services" it shows that the virtualbox kernel module is enabled.

I typed "sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup" in the terminal and received the following:

    Code:
    ------@linux-r1v4:~> sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
    root's password:
    Stopping VirtualBox kernel module done
    Recompiling VirtualBox kernel module failed
(Look at /var/log/vbox-install.log to find out what went wrong)
    ------@linux-r1v4:~>
The contents of vbox-install.log are the following:

    Code:
/usr/share/virtualbox/src/vboxdrv/build_in_tmp: line 94: make: command not found
I can't think of anything else to try. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Looks like 'make' is not installed.
You must have the related 'kernel-source, kernel-sym, gcc, and make' installed :-)

Thanks for the help. I installed the required files, rebooted, and it worked.

I actually googled the issued, but didn't see the howto. Next time I'll look harder.
