Scanning with HPL7780 All-in-one

When I try to scan I get this error xine0.997-2.1
Error during CMS
Conversion: could not open scanner ICM profile.

OS Information
OS: Linux 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop x86_64
Current user: danorske@linux-amhc
System: openSUSE 11.2 (x86_64)
KDE: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4)

Can anyone tell me what to do?

There is a way to disable colour management IIRC. Have a read of this old thread.

Did that and it no longer gets that error. but it scans only blank, no text.
