    Exclamation Conky and images

    Recently I succesfully installed conky. I managed to get a lot of things work with more or less effort but I can't make conky to display any image.

    Images path and permissions had been checked. Imlib2 support too but conky won't display a thing.

    Code:
    $conky -v

    System config file: /etc/conky/conky.conf
    Package library path: /usr/lib64/conky

     X11:
      * Xdamage extension
      * XDBE (double buffer extension)
      * Xft
      * ARGB visual

     Music detection:
      * MPD
      * MOC

     General:
      * math
      * hddtemp
      * portmon
      * Curl
      * RSS
      * Weather (METAR)
      * Weather (XOAP)
      * wireless
      * support for IBM/Lenovo notebooks
      * eve-online
      * config-output
      * Imlib2
      * ALSA mixer support
      * apcupsd
      * iostats
      * ncurses
      * Lua

      Lua bindings:
    the call to image file under .conkyrc
    Code:
    ${image ~/cover.jpg -p 0,2 -s 64x64}
    Any help will be really appreciated,

    Pancho

    Hi
    There are no lua bindings present in your version, hence no images
    shown. Here is my version packaged up in the repositories;
    Code:
    Compiled in features:

    System config file: /etc/conky/conky.conf
    Package library path: /usr/lib/conky

    X11:
    * Xdamage extension
    * XDBE (double buffer extension)
    * Xft
    * ARGB visual

    Music detection:
    * MPD
    * MOC

    General:
    * math
    * hddtemp
    * portmon
    * wireless
    * config-output
    * Imlib2
    * apcupsd
    * iostats
    * ncurses
    * Lua

    Lua bindings:
    * Cairo
    * Imlib2
    It's the 4th version down in;

    Also to complement it, there is conkyforecast as well;

    Hi
    Glad to have helped I do note my version doesn't have some of the
    features in the version you had, so if it's a problem I can make some
    changes. I also have a version locally built that includes the nvidia
    monitoring if required.

    As an AMD/ATI user Nvidia drivers are not a "must" at the moment but I'm sure someone will benefit from it

    This is how my conkies are right now. I think it's not bad for a noobie
