    Default Error starting gvim

    Hi,

I get this error when I start gvim:

    Code:
    -bash-3.00$ gvim
E665: Cannot start GUI, no valid font found
Press ENTER or type command to continue
Has anyone seen this problem? Any workarounds available?

    Hello eeijlar,

Could you tell us a bit more?
Which version of openSUSE you have?
Which version of gvim you have?
If you use KDE or GNOME?

Here's a helpful link: Setting the font in the GUI - Vim Tips Wiki

Maybe you can try to rename your .gvimrc and try to start gvim.

    Good luck!
Where did I put my coffee cup?
    dir -R /home/* | grep "coffee cup"
