Hi dear forum members,

do you know how to get a application or widget that shows me a (bigger) display for my wireless lan (wlan/wifi) in KDE 4?

The best I could find is the thing in the system tray of the Network Manager/KNetworkmanager that came with the Oxigen theme. But this I was not able to enlarge that icon. So it is only about 3-4 mm (0.1-0.2 Inch) "high" on my laptop screen (1400*1050 and 15'' / 23cm*30,5cm).

Or has intel even released a display program for linux with driver for the first "centrino" generation I can use in KDE 4? The YaST Kontroll Center says I have this:
Device: PRO/Wireless 2200BG [Calexico2] Network Connection; Driver: ipw2200 .

In GNOME I get a scalable bar diagram for the strength/reception of the wlan when I run my "WiFi" with the GNOME applet for NetworkManager.

Greetings
