You did not even tell where you found all those instances. That is why caf4926 asks for your repos thinking that it is from a YaST > Software > Software management search.

But it could also be from a Webpin search.

In any case I wouldn't use Playground or the like repos. Community looksallready much more stable doesn't it?

I do not know what caf4926 will say, but I am pretty sure that he would suggest you to remove openSUSE:11.1:Update. The best case will be that it is never used (because not for 11.2), the worst case is that it takes resources, but nevertheless it is useless.

I think you should decide if you want to test the newest of the newest (like Playground or Unstable) or go for stability like Stable or even simple Community (which you do not have). When you have them all, you should not be amazed that you have as many choices as there are repos for a package. We can not tell you which one to take. You must take the decision if you need Unstable because there is a new feature you can not live without and you will swallow any problems inherent to Unstable. OTOH when you like to test new versions and want to contribute to the product by reporting problems you encounter, Playground may be just what you like.

I like more stable then stable and thus stuck to the KDE packages on OSS and have not added any one of these, nor Community, but that is my way of living.

you can find short explanations about Playground, etc. here: KDE/Repositories - openSUSE

    @In_Control01

You are in a big mess
You have repos from 11.1 and 11.2 !!

You also have added stable and unstable !!

What version of SUSE are you supposed to be using. It's wonder your system works at all.

Wow Ok, do I remove some repo links then?

My system works fine... Are those repos affecting my system?

    I have edited your list

    Code:
    8 | repo-debug | openSUSE-11.2-Debug | No | Yes | 99 | NONE | Index of /debug/distribution/11.2/repo/oss |
    9 | repo-non-oss | openSUSE-11.2-Non-Oss | Yes | Yes | 99 | yast2 | Index of /distribution/11.2/repo/non-oss |
    10 | repo-oss | openSUSE-11.2-Oss | Yes | Yes | 99 | yast2 | Index of /distribution/11.2/repo/oss |
    11 | repo-source | openSUSE-11.2-Source | No | Yes | 99 | NONE | Index of /source/distribution/11.2/repo/oss |
    12 | repo-update | openSUSE-11.2-Update | Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | Index of /update/11.2 |
Once you have the above. Now do this in a su - terminal

    Code:
    zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2/ kde-community
    Code:
    zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Backports/openSUSE_11.2/ backports
    then
    Code:
    zypper ref
    Code:
    zypper in kmess
    (a) to accept keys/licences if asked.
    then
    Code:
    zypper up
    as a general update
