Replace Opensuse 11.1 version with 10.3

I have a new PC with Opensuse 11.1 installed. But I am forced to use an older version due to lack of support from the intel compilers. In this case what procedure should I follow during installation which will remove the new version(11.1) with the old(10.3) version. Of course I cant use the upgrade option. Please kindly help.

Imo you should do a clean install. Use a 10.3 install cd, and wipe the 11.1 off the face of the earth - not to mention your hard drive. I can’t see trying to downgrade everything as doing anything but causing a great deal of broken dependencies and PAIN.

But I’ve never tried what you suggest. Good luck.
