    Question KDE 4 - Korganizer/Journal

    Hi,

Where does Korganizer/Journal keep the journal entries? In std.ics or in a separate file?

    I couldn't find anything in ~/.kde4/share/apps......

    Cheers.

    Cheers.

I have checked .kde4/share/apps/korganizer already. Nothing in there except std.ics.
There is also no directory in .kde4/share/apps which looks like it belongs to the journal function of korganizer. I'll have a look at std.ics and will check what's in there.

    Regards.

    Hi,

korganizer stores journal entries in std.ics.

That is, however, a problem if you synchronise korganizer with your Google calendar using gcaldaemon as the journal entries get overwritten=erased when gcaldaemon updates the local calendar with more recent entries from the Google calendar. I will double-check that.

    Cheers.
