Thread: Digikam Q's

    Default Digikam Q's

Nokia 6270 not automatically recognised by 11.2's digikam. Please guide me slowly through the process of getting it to work as a SCSI-USB device-if that's appropriate. NOOB at work.

    Is this a phone?

Are you able to browse the device in dolphin?

HOW? What do I look for? If it's there, it not obvious to me. I've been thru most folders from root, inc /dev, /media and /mnt for no obvious return. The filename(?) /dev/ttyUSB0 occurs here & in a test program whose name I've forgotten but is used to locate the port for the phone. gnokii-something I think. I can't open that file.

go into phone settings and UNMOUNT your sd card or whatever your using, then openSUSE will open it up when you plug it in....simple as that...if the phone has mounted your storage, linux won't or can't.

definitely not happening. Why make things non-standard, just to be different? Just to compel extra work to adapt things. I get so sick of all the brain strains 'nix puts me thru' just to be virus free.
