    Question KDE 4: File associations and menu itens missing in application menu

    Hi,

    Every applications of KDE 4 menu are missing.

    When I try to open some file, including directories, "Open with..." window appears.



    How can i solve these problems? Thank all!

    Was this always the case since install?

    If not:
    When did this happen?
    Did you install/change anything before it happened?

    No, when i installed it everything was fine. It happened later, i don't know when. It was a long time ago... I did many changes and I don't remember what i did... I've installed many things and updated the system...

    Welcome to the forums.

    I suggest you reinstall. Finding out what you did is impossible since you don't remember yourself.
    First reinstall, perform updates. Then read carefully before you start messing around with repos etc.
