mandelbrot wallpaper kde

hi i'm having a problem with the mandelbrot wallpaper from kde.
It just disappeared, i even reinstalled suse (11.2) but the wallpaper is still gone, i've tried to zoom the farthest but isn't there, i've entered with a root session and there it is, so what could be the problem.

PS the touchpad is a little crazy it drags everything in its way, that's how i lose my wallpaper in the first place, could that be a driver issue or should i get a mouse?

the mandelbrot wallpaper is part of the package plasma-addons. Do you still have that installed?
