    Overall, you really don't need Realplayer.
    I've done very well without it for about 3 years,the gecko mediaplyer plugin,Mplayer & Xine can do media better than Realplayer,give them a shot!
    However if you must have it use the .bin from the Realplayer download page.

    Sagemta, i use these programs and they work very well to play media from my pc, but im having problems with online radio, cause they require windowsmedia player or real player. Thats why i'm trying to install it.... but if anyone have a suggestion to make online radio work without realplayer i'll be pleased

    Try installing the vlc plugin? This generally works ok for me.. You can also play some online streams using Amarok -> Amarok WIKI

    This may help.

    wget http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/rele...071007.tar.bz2

    Extract it.
    tar -jxvf all-20071007.tar.bz2
    su -c 'mkdir -p /usr/local/lib/codecs'
    su -c 'cp all-20071007/* /usr/local/lib/codecs'
    rm -rf /tmp/all-20071007*

    su -c 'ln -sf /usr/local/lib/codecs /usr/lib/codecs && ln -sf /usr/local/lib/codecs /usr/local/lib/win32 && ln -sf /usr/local/lib/codecs /usr/lib/win32'
