    Default Connect HTC Hero to OpenSUSE?

    Hi!
    Have anyone made to connect a HTC Hero (Android) to OpenSUSE and mange to sync calender, address/contact etc?

    I connect my HTC Hero to my OpenSUSE11.2 but not even the memory-card shows up.

    I dont think there is a way to sync these things with linux...
    The only way I did it ,is via gmail...
    If you find anything else let me know please...

    I thought this was supposed to work with Linux! At least the SD card is supposed to be visible.

    Argh.. if the Android doesn't then that's one argument against getting one right now!

    The sd card to me is visible every time I connect my phone to the computer..You have to mount the card from the phone first,then it should be visible to the pc too...The other functions don't work..Or maybe I don't know how to do it....

    To my knowledge, the HTC Hero does not sync with _any_ computer, win/linux/mac or otherwise; you can, however, back up your contacts/calendar/etc by syncing with a gmail account.

    I've worked with a variety of smartphones/PDAs, and the Androids are some of the best I've seen so far, a pleasure to work with.
