I have an issue with desktop effects. When I try to enable them, it is OK for about 5 sec, after that the effects are disabled.
When I logout and login again, the desktop effects are enabled. But after some time (for instance, 3-5 min) they are disabled automatically again.
I use OpenSUSE 11.2:

The driver for video card is installed.
There are no messages about video card problems or system requirements. Could you please provide any info, what can I do to prevent automatic effects disabling?
