    Hello was reading this interesting article Fix Ubuntu Dropping Wireless on Suspend/Hibernate Resume On The Road with Vicky Lamburn and I look in the /etc//default folder an don't see it can anyone tell where to find this in suse? thanks

    locate can find not a single *acpi* on my openSUSE 10.3, so i guess
    you found a "Debian thing"..

    but, maybe you can find what you seek at The Source of All Knowledge
    (aka: google), begin thusly:"configure+acpi"

    and, add/delete/modify the search string's terms and breadth of search
    [example confined to] until you find the prize!

    I know this thread is pretty old, but I accomplished a network restart on resume by placing " service network restart " in the 55Network script in /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/55Network. just placed in the bottom of resume_num() function.
    This is probably the sloppy way to do it, but it works. Makes network manager reset on resume and brings back up all the Network Interfaces.
