Default KDE's Configure Desktop and YAST

    Hi,

I am running openSUSE 11.2 with KDE 4.3.4. There seems to be some overlap and inconsistencies between KDE's Configure Desktop and YAST. For example,

    YAST > /etc/sysconfig Editor > Desktop > Display Manager > DISPLAYMANAGER_KDM_THEME

    seems to be duplicated to

Configure Desktop > Login Manager > Theme

But the later does not work.
    The first changes: /usr/share/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc
    The second /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

This is quite confusing. Is there any place to read what is implemented in terms of integration to KDE?
What is the roadmap in respect of merging/linking KDE and SUSE config files?

    Regards,

    heg

Since you haven't had a response yet, try posting to the kde-linux mail list at: kde-linux@kde.org. They should be able to give you an answer.
