Thread: Pulse Surround Messed up

  1. #1

    Exclamation Pulse Surround Messed up

    I followed my previous threads about this sound issue:
    Surround Sound Issues - openSUSE Forums
    Sound Issues (ESD system sounds) - openSUSE Forums
    and yet again under OS11.2 I have difficulty getting the ICE1712 chip working correctly. My speakers are switched for output now though.
    Code:
    # speaker-test -Dplug:surround51 -c6 -l5 -twav

    speaker-test 1.0.21

    Playback device is plug:surround51
    Stream parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 6 channels
    WAV file(s)
    Rate set to 48000Hz (requested 48000Hz)
    Buffer size range from 2 to 6553
    Period size range from 2 to 3276
    Using max buffer size 6552
    Periods = 4
    was set period_size = 1638
    was set buffer_size = 6552
     0 - Front Left
     4 - Center
     1 - Front Right
     3 - Rear Right
     2 - Rear Left
     5 - LFE
    Front left = correct
    Center = rear right
    Front right = correct
    Rear right = center
    Rear left = LFE
    LFE = rear right/ left

    Anybody have suggestions to fix this. Been looking on the net and haven't found a working solution.
