Thread: Missing libresmgr

    Default Missing libresmgr

    I have updated my system from 10.3 to 11.2.
    Now I cannot run scanimage because of missing lib.
    rpm -qf /usr/bin/scanimage
    sane-backends-1.0.20-8.3.i586

    ldd /usr/bin/scanimage
    linux-gate.so.1 => (0xffffe000)
    libsane.so.1 => /usr/local/lib/libsane.so.1 (0xb77f6000)
    libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0xb7696000)
    libusb-0.1.so.4 => /usr/lib/libusb-0.1.so.4 (0xb7690000)
    libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0xb7676000)
    libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0xb764c000)
    libjpeg.so.62 => /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62 (0xb7628000)
    libresmgr.so.0.1 => not found
    libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0xb7623000)
    /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7821000)
    libusb-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libusb-1.0.so.0 (0xb7615000)
    librt.so.1 => /lib/librt.so.1 (0xb760a000)

    Where can I get libresmgr.so.0.1?

    Thanks in advance.

    Default Re: Missing libresmgr

    I have found the solution.
    libsane.so.1 => /usr/local/lib/libsane.so.1

    Was the wrong (old) lib in /usr/local/lib.
    After removing the old libs in /usr/local/lib it works.
