Thread: .folder not show up in dolphin

    Default .folder not show up in dolphin

    I realized that all .Folder is not showing on dolphin but I still able to access it by click on pathname and manual type the name.

    is there a way to set them show up by default

    View -> Adjust View Properties -> Check "View Hidden Files".
    openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64) with Kernel 3.7.10-1.16-desktop and KDE 4.11.2 on MacBook Pro
    Latest MS Windows version used: Win95

    In Dolphin: Alt+. (Alt+dot) to toggle view of hidden files and not.

    In Dolphin: Alt+. (Alt+dot) to toggle view of hidden files and not.

    If you hit the View menu item, it says:

    Show Hidden Files Alt+.

    That's where I got it from, the menu.



    Edit: any app that has a (global) shortcut for any command that shows up in the menu, will show the shortcuts as well. Look at Copy and Paste in the Edit menus, the Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V are on the right.

    Oh, OK. It is quite common that we miss out things that are there in front of our eyes
