    Default KDE 4.3.4 and PowerDevil

I recently installed KDE 4.3.4-2.1 following repository guideline here on the Forum. It loaded kdebase4-workspace 4.3.4-9.1, which is the provider for PowerDevil, I believe.

When I go to System Settings-Advanced-Power Management, I get a Status message:

PowerDevil was compiled without Xext support, or the XSync extension is not available. (it continues)

I don't recall seeing this before on KDE 4.3.1.

    Is this "normal" ?
