    Angry An update brokes the keyboard and kwin

    Hi!

    Today, i update my opensuse 11.2 and kwin is gone, it says it's could not recover from the crash, under kde the keyboard not responding, now i can use only icewm

    Here are my repos:

    Which information should i post to get any help?

    Oh, and fglrx is gone also

    Boot like this and remove the kde backports and playground repos

    Level 3 Boot and Yast - Windows Live

    When you quit yast do this at the cli

    zypper dup
    and finally

    Code:
    mv .kde4 .kde4-old
    reboot
    Leap 15.1_KDE

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    Meantime i found the solution: I uninstall and reinstall the propietary ati driver, and boom! everything worked as usual

    Sould i do this after every kernel update ?

    If you installed it manually - Yes
    But if from the repos it should be OK
