    i disagree...many of the people who registered did so because they
    wanted help--and, you can't ask a question here without registering..

    the number of one and two time posters indicates (to me) that a huge
    percentage of those "40,000 members" are more like 35,000 questioners
    and (at most) 5,000 participating forum "members"..

    I just learned from some community expert, that a score of 5% active members can be called succesful for open communities.
