Thread: Mozilla Firefox/Seamonkey unstable!

    Default Mozilla Firefox/Seamonkey unstable!

    Hi!
    I'm using openSUSE 11.2, x64, KDE.
I can't open Firefox or Seamonkey! When I open, it closes.
    I barely can use it.

    Any clues?

Type firefox from the command line and see if it pukes out any errors or messages when it starts or closes.

Uninstall gecko-mediaplayer or if you need it, use the one from RedDwarf
    Info on that here
Multi-media and Restricted Format Installation Guide - openSUSE Forums

(Currently in 11.2 RC2 when gecko-mediaplayer is installed a bug crashes Firefox. If this happens, just remove gecko-mediaplayer)

gecko-mediaplayer (several users (RedDwarf) package a newer version of this which may provide added compatibility.)
    Index of /repositories/home:/RedDwarf/openSUSE_11.2
Use versions tab in software management to select it from RedDwarf's repo
