    Default Weather Widget

The weather widget on kde4.3 is not working. this is apparently due to a change in the BBC rss link info. Is there a method of fixing it?

Oh, in opensuse, you only replace this link /home/user/.kde/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc by another link as "/home/user/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc". Then you do following next steps.
I can use weather widget by this method.
    Cheer!

you could try downloading CWP - an alternative, highly configurable weather plasmoid. It's available in the repos through Yast.
