    Default What to do with a .bin file

    Hi,
    This isn't OS. sorry, You guy's are so smart I thought I'd ask you.
    I have d/l'd an application in .bin file.
    How would I open to run this file?

    sh /path/to/the/file.bin #Absolute path

    or

    sh ./file.bin #Relative path, equally valid

    or

    chmod +x ./file.bin #make file executable
    ../file.bin #run file

    Also, send feedback to the source of the .bin file and tell them they need
    to get some instructions for their users, and if they have those
    instructions send a message to yourself to read them. ;-)
