    Default how to change default desktop?

    hi
    i am new to open SUSE.I am using 11.1 version.
    Code:

    how yo change default desktop from KDE to GNOME / XFCE etc?

    You would need to install the other desktop in Yast - Software Management - Filter by Patterns and so on.....

    Once done, make sure you disable auto login
    Disable Auto-Login - openSUSE Forums

    Logout
    And at the login screen, lower left corner 'Sessions'
    Click and select from the selection of your installed desktops
    Enter password and login

    thanx it worked.......

    but did not getting to work with Desktop effect and geeting and error massege when i am clicking on my MY COMPUTER icon eg "Could not display "sysinfo:///".".in GNOME.
