    Default libjpeg-7 Help

The Independent JPEG Group released version 7 of their jpeg library Independent JPEG Group

I downloaded a prebuild binary (alien arena) that was dynamically linked to the newer libjpeg.so.7 witch is not available at the SUSE reposetories, I'm cautious about doing ./configure & make install from the jpegsrc.v7.tar.gz
as there are a lot of binaries depending on the installed libjbeg-6b
I googled for libjpeg.so.7 and the only distro providing it is Mand... 2010
Any ideas about getting libjpeg.so.7 ?

    Tanks
by the way I'm using OpenSUSE 11.2

You can install .so.6 and .so.7 at the same time, no problem.

The first place where it will appear is in the "graphics" OBS repo. Since the update is available upstream since some months ago it's ok to open a bug report asking for the updated package (also comment that the openSUSE 11.2 build is disabled). Assign the bug to "nadvornik".

Tanks for the reply, but I don't get it
OBS --> Open Build System ?
    well I searched Software.openSUSE.org
I also checked Index of /repositories/graphics/openSUSE_11.2
I'm embraced to admit it but I don't know where to submit the bug report
