    Default Startup sound

Now that I've customised almost everything, I hope to turn my attention to that dreary guitar chord at boot up. Is there a way of replacing it with something a little snazzier?

    Hi

I have not the slightest idea where the startup sound file is stored (that's what you probably wanted to know?) but I would replace it with this: http://www.rosswalker.co.uk/movie_so...perational.wav.

Yes, I have plenty of potential replacements lined up but I need to know where it's stored...

Go to (Configure Desktop) System Settings -> Notifications
Select under Applications: Event Source = KDE System Notifications

Pick your sound for login/logout or any other event.
