You may use krdc to connect to Windo$ machines. I haven't used it myself but is supports RDP protocol and that is what you want to connect to Windo$.
There are other technologies like NX too.

Latest MS Windows version used: Win95
VNC and (x)RDP both work from openSUSE (client) to a windows machine (server).
