    Default In need of help!!

I am still a newbe when it comes to using Linux. I have spent months searching for a video conversion program that I could use in Windows. As everyone else I work with still use it. I have a **** load of files to convert and have no way of doing it. I am hoping that someone will know of a program I can use in Linux to do the converting. The files I need to convert are not standard file format. Which has made things even harder for me.

This isn't the easiest thing to answer since you don't really specify
anything except that you need some kind of conversion program. What
format are you using that is "not standard file format" and what format
are they needing you to convert to? Even more difficult, you need it in
windows. If you are a Linux user you could always do the converting for
your OS-deficient coworkers. The ffmpeg libraries can probably do just
about anything so start by looking up ffmpeg and going from there unless
you want to post the details of what you are doing so more-specific
    responses can be provided.

    Good luck.
