    Default Thunderbird 3 RC1

Thunderbird 3 RC1 has been released and fixes a number of issues over the beta version shipped with Opensuse 11.2

Anybody know where I can get my hands on an RPM package for Opensuse?
Can't find one in the Opensuse/Mozilla Buildservice repo

Its not there yet, we may not see it actually as I think they are waiting till the final.

Final Version of Thunderbird has been released today.

Of course it will take a while for the pacakge-maintainers, but I am interested how this is handled for 11.2. Whill the main package be upgraded (which is b4)? Or do I have to install another package (maybe something from packman)?

    Thanks.

But still I need to add an repository. Why is the main version in the distribution not upgraded automatically? I mean, I know how to add an repository, but my girlfriend for example doesnt. It would be easier for other users.

Testing, I'm sure they'll roll it out for everyone else soon - the repos usually have "out of the oven" stuff for early adopters.

Final version should be available under standard "/update" repo.

    Just wait and see...
