Gnome: Apps not minimized to task bar
Hi,
openSUSE 11.2 x86_64, Gnome, Compiz Desktop manager
When apps are minimized, no buttons appear for them in the task bar. I can only pull them back on screen using the task switcher.
This happens regardless of desktop effects being enabled or disabled.
How can I fix this please?

Make sure you have a Task Manager in the panel

Re: Gnome: Apps not minimized to task bar
How would I do that? I thought that would be installed automatically. I didn't have that problem in previous OpenSUSE versions (including 11.1 32 bit).
Edit:
I managed to get it working. I had to add an application named "application menu" to the task bar panel.
