I think the proper question here is, what do you want to achieve?

Do you want to setup an update server that mirrors all the 11.x updates that Novell/openSUSE community releases ( as in Index of /update ) or one that hosts files the 3rd party ones release, such as Packman?

    My internet is slow!
I play with the OS alot, it does crash!
I set up from scrach form network installer!
Then get the updates, that I need, from the network update!
I already have a data server so I then bring the data back!
I do not need to go to the internet! and I know all the data is scan for problems!
    so Reloads are faster!
