Include credentials in Dolphin as an ftp client

I occasionally use simple ftp on my (protected) LAN to move files around.
I’ve recently moved back to KDE and have forgottent the syntax for ftp addressing in Dolphin.

Dolphin connects fine with like this address: ftp://10.0.0.44
and asks for the username and password.

What is the syntax for an ftp address to use in Dolphin that includes the username and password in the address?

Thanks

Something like this?

Specifying username/password in a URL

I imagine:

ftp://user:pass@10.0.0.44 should work

Thanks guys, it’s working now using that syntax. And Kwallet suggested to me that it manage the passwords instead of putting them in plain sight, so I accepted and changed it to ftp://donkey@ipaddress/directory and kwallet supplies the rest.

This new fangled KDE is cool. Pity I keep getting kwrite failures, but that’s for tomorrow.

I hate kwrite. Kate is a much sweeter girl.
