    Question Amarok unable to save podcasts

    hi,

    my amarok 2.2.0 and now 2.2.1 cant' keep saved podcasts.
    I'm able to save them and listen them but as soon as i close the software the saved podcasts are erased.

    Is this a known bug ?

    Thanks

    Question Re: Amarok unable to save podcasts

    Hi

    Is there someone using mysql database that could tell me what's going wrong with my amarok 2 database ?
    I can't see any songs.

    Here's what i have :
    ~> amarok --version
    Qt: 4.5.3
    KDE: 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3) "release 2"
    Amarok: 2.2.1

    What i did :

    install mysql and start service with runlevel 3 and 5
    create database using the tutorial given for amarok 1.4, see mysql set up :
    MySQL HowTo - Amarok Wiki

    Then in amarok /set up/database :

    enabling the "use of an external mysql database " ... Is there another way to have mysql database ?

    server : localhost
    port : 3306
    user : amarok
    database : amarok
    password

    is the text box underneath just an example or does it need to be edited ?

    for me it gives this :
    GRANT ALL ON amarok.* TO 'amarok'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';
    FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

    After adding 3 music dirs and full rescan i only have 1 track in the collection , can't acces to it and thus no collection available. Therefore no way to use amarok.

    Any tips or ideas about how to solve this ?
    Thanks
