Default How to install Sugar Desktop on openSUSE 11.2

I went to the thread on how to install the 1LPC Sugar Desktop on openSUSE and added the repos, but I'm still having some conflict errors. I am running a Dell Inspiron 531 AMD x2 64 +4000, 4GB RAM, and openSUSE 11.2 x64. I have the latest NVidia drivers installed the hardway. Does anyone know how to get this installed properly?

This isn't going to help you, but I have a question.

I am trying to promote opensuse in school districts. Moving them from Windows to linux is a tough sell. I looked at the sugar desktop, installed it as a VM, but could not even begin to understand it!

What is its purpose and how is it useful?
