    Smile Desktop shortcuts

    Hi:

Good to be back since 10.1. I got 11.2 installed on a Dell E5500 and except for a wireless issue (solved via firmware), I love it so far. Having a little trouble with pulling apps shortcuts to the desktop. Was wondering if there is a simple way to do it. I'm trying to ramp back in Linux so I'm a bit rusty.

    Thanks in advance

    Steve

If it's KDE you need to right click the current desktop and in the settings box choose: 'Folder View' as the Desktop Activity Type.

You can drag Icon from the menu, it will ask if you want to copy or link, either will work.
