Getting sensors to work in Opensuse 11.1
I've been trying to get sensors or lm_sensors to work in opensuse 11.1 and then use gkrellm but no help.
I've run sensors-detect and get the following at the end:
WARNING! The required module ipmisensors is not currently installed
on your system. You may need to install package kernel-default-extra
for lm-sensors to work properly.
How can I get that installed? Thank you.

I tried gkrellm but didn't like it. I'm using lm_sensors here with the
Gnome sensors applet.

So, this may sound like a silly question, but have you installed this
"kernel-default-extra" package via YaST?

YaST --> Software Management --> Available --> kernel-default-extra
Click on "Install", then on "Apply".

David,
Yes I already had kernel-default-extra installed. That's the reason I started the thread because I seemingly had everything that I needed on there.

Ah, ok. Just making sure. Unfortunately, that was my only good idea.
