Live USB Stick openSUSE 11.2/KDE4 RC1 and 2nd partition on USB Stick

Hello,

I have prepared according to URL http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick
a Live USB stick for openSUSE 11.2/KDE4 RC1.
I can boot my Medion Akoya Mini Netbook E1210 (MSI-Wind) from the LIVE
USB stick, configure the network and surf on the internet. I have
noticed that after a reboot the network configuration is missing and
in the Dolphin file manager I get the following error message:

An error occured while accessing CDRom. The system responded:
org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume. UnknownFailure:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb2, missing
code page or helper program or other error.

In some cases useful info is found in syslog. Try dmesg | tail

The dmesg | tail give: isofs: Unable to identify CDRom format

Have somebody an idea what can be wrong. Could it be that the part of
the above mentioned URL http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick , in
which the creaton of the 2nd partition is described is wrong, incomplete
or missed some steps that needs to be done after booting from the Live
USB Stick.

Thanks in advance.

Frans

I’m afraid I can’t help directly, but would suggest that you might find using unetbootin easier - it can be installed on Windows or Linux, and is self-explanatory.
