got it while trying to look at volume on sound card in yast (using gnome)

YaST got signal 11 at YCP file Wizard.ycp:743

Have any ideas what is wrong and what can be done with it ?

It's nothing to do with your sound, it's a problem with the Yast UI. AFAIK it should be fixed with updates.
